Description
An image of the Rogue River Bridge in Gold Beach, Oregon, at the mouth of the Rogue River where it meets the Pacific Ocean. It is also known as the Isaac Lee Patterson Memorial Bridge and is a part of the American west's famous Highway 1 route. Max Pollak depicts the Art Deco structure with fishermen at the base of its arches to show its size and scale.
This impression is inscribed "only print", though it's unclear why he would have chosen not to do a full edition, as it is an elegant and classic Pollak image, including architecture, landscape, and daily life.
