This drypoint is from the portfolio "Samson," published by Galerie Sydow in 1968. The portfolio was 35 pages and contained 20 original etchings and 75 ornamental linear etchings. "Samson and the Harlot in Gaza is on page XX and is printed on a folded sheet. On the verso of the pencil signed drypoint is an orange linear etching of an Amazon on Horseback. The folded page to the right also has an orange linear etching with Hebrew and the text: 1 Samson se rendit a Gaza ou il vit une prostituee et il alla la trouver." The verso of this is another line etching and more text in French and Hebrew.
