An early, rare example of Kenneth Tyler's own work, before he began printing for other artists. This portfolio was done in 1963, the year he graduated from Herron School of Art in Indianapolis, Indiana under the tutelage of Garo Antreasian. He went on to found Gemini GEL and then Tyler Graphics. The colophon reads: "Pendant World, a suite of 8 lithographs plus title page and colophon was handprinted by the artist, in Garo Antreasian's Print Department, at the Herron School of Fine Art, Indianapolis, Indiana - 1963. The edition consists of ten numbered impressions on Arches and some artist proofs on Arches and Copperplate. All stones have been effaced - This is No. 10/10." It is contained in a black linen box with a natural linen interior.
