Description

This large multi-technique print was printed by Kohn in an edition of 30 impressions, printed intaglio; he also printed another 15 printed in relief, so the gestural lines that appear black in this impression and create the image, are white in the other, with a black background.

"Lion" is illustrated as plate 28 in American Prints Today/ 1959. It is printed on either China or India paper and laid onto a heavier support paper. "Lion" has been illustrated in numerous publications.
