Biography

Painter and printmaker Laura Garcia Rulfo was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, in 1950. She studied drawing and painting under Jose Fors and David Birks in the 1980s and 90s, and in 1992 she learned engraving at the La Ruleta workshop. She lives and works in Jalisco, where she also curates shows and promotes local artistis.
