Little is readily found on printmaker, painter, and writer John Edwards Richard, who also went by "Jack." He was born on June 17, 1930, in San Francisco, California, and received his MFA with honors from the California College of Arts and Crafts (now the California College of the Arts) in Oakland, California. He exhibited at the DeYoung Museum in 1962. Richard died in the Bay Area on March 8, 2007.
