Description
Pacific Grove is a coastal city in Monterey County, California and is known for its Victorian homes, Asilomar State Beach, the visual arts community, and is also known as the "Butterfly Capital of California" for the annual migration of the Monarch butterflies. William Seltzer Rice paints in watercolor more of the understated locations of Pacific Grove. Here, he used red and golden undertones to capture the salvaged warmth in the coastal area of Monterey County during the winter time.
