Description
From the collection of Danish critic and author Georg Bröchner, who wrote for the British art magazine "The Studio" in the early 20th century. This 16th century stone arch span, known as a packhorse bridge, appears to be the Essex Bridge in Staffordshire, England. It is among the least altered bridges remaining from that century.
