Description

Robert McChesney created a harsh, graphic image for "The Abduction". Two abstracted shapes with human elements - eyes, legs, arm, dominate the foreground. They appear to be running, connected by an "arm".

The image is compelling and forceful; abstract shapes, lines going in opposite directions, triangles, circles in black and white. A tight, modernist composition with a Surreal edge. The overall composition creates a sense of urgency and stress for the viewer who realizes there is "something happening here, what it is ain't exactly clear."
