Description
This is a classic view of Manhattan across the East River and through the steel cables of the Brooklyn Bridge. Pollak emphasized the important industry of the East River by featuring different modes of transportation on the river and the played upon the importance of the Brooklyn Bridge by making it span the width of his image.
