Description
The Green River Cemetery is located in Springs, New York, known as the "cradle of [the American] Abstract Expressionist movement" and home to several noted American artists, poets, and writers, chief among them Jackson Pollock nad Lee Krasner, and hosting John Steinbeck, and Kurt Vonnegut among many others. Its cemetery is equally as noted, being the resting place of many of these luminaries. Byron McClintock uses a warm spring palette to evoke the natural beauty of the rural setting.
