Description
Fiskebackskil is a fishing and shipping village located near the North Sea, at the mouth of Gulmarn fjord in Bahusian in southwestern Sweden, now primarily a tourist location.
Pollak, using an impressionistic approach with his color, shows the village with an overcast sky with rays of sunshine peeking through on the horizon. The village looks much the same today, including the iconic, large windmill in the background.
