This is a beautifully printed impression with plate tone and velvety drypoint lines. This impression was originally sold by Kennedy Galleries and is a proof from the plate prior to much reworking over the entire plate. The changes to the plate are most noticeable in the lower quarter. The locale is England on a hillside overlooking the Thames.
