Description

This composition is created using a method similar to 'maniere criblée', the result of 'cribbling' the plate, punching a design of holes into the plate, creating spaces that will not ink and can print as a three dimensional dots.

The artist has created a composition of decorative circles, like Christmas ornaments, all interwoven with each other. Close examination reveals that each design, though seemingly repeated, is individually done.
