Norma Pfaff uses the Provincetown or "white-line" relief technique to print this still life with begonias. She carves the linear design into a linoleum block, then she individually paints the surface with watercolor and prints the block. The colors are separated from each other by the white lines and show brush strokes.
Though printed as a multiple, each impression differs from the others and are numbered 1/1, like a monoprint, rather than editioned as a multiple.
