Description
An abstract intaglio by San Francisco Beat Generation artist Jerry D. Opper, done in 1949 while studying at the California School of Fine Arts (now the San Francisco Art Institute).
This partially hand colored etching is cut out at the platemark and mounted onto a thick chipboard that he painted black.
