A beautiful small Arts & Crafts color woodcut by Rice depicting a small California bungelow at twilight, "the soft glowing light from the sky when the sun is below the horizon, caused by the refraction and scattering of the sun's rays from the atmosphere." The sun's rays can be seen at the right of the image.
