Description

This print is difficult to photograph, it is printed with a white ink over silver foil, the circular dove is embossed and is all silver. It is collaged onto a thick sheet of Fabriano Classico rag paper.

"Dove Tail" was done in 1969 at Collectors Press in San Francisco, which later became Editions Press. It is one of Ramos's earliest prints, part of a series "Leda and the Swan." These early lithographs are quite scarce.

There was a trade edition of 100 plus 25 impressions which were included in the suite "Leda and the Swan."
