Worden Day studied at Atelier 17 in New York where she met woodcut artists Anne Ryan and Sue Fuller. This print is abstract expressionist in its approach. Day uses the grain of the plank on which to place abstract, intricate colors with a kind of controlled chaos, like a contemporary circuit-board.
