An early lithograph by Columbian born artist and curator, Felix Angel. This was printed at Editions Press in 1982 and was co-published by Editions Press, San Francico (chop, lower left) & Marvin Moss Gallery, San Francisco.
In this large, color lithograph by the Columbian born Americian artist Felix Angel, the artist fills the paper with a large race horse, with a jockey squeezed on to its back.
Angel shows the power of the horse in its body, reducing the proportion for its neck and head, its tongue hanging out. The jockey is difficult to discern, bent forward, hidden in a fog. He could be easily tossed out of the picture if the horse wished.
