This impression is a B.A.T., used as the image against which all the rest of the edition is measured. The lithograph was printed at Tamarind by Glenn Brill and Lynn Baker. Gilot was Picasso's companion between 1944 and 54 after which she married Dr. Jonas Salk, discoverer of the polio vaccine.
