Little is known of Walters, except for her time at Atelier 17 in Paris and her untimely death in Boston during a mugging. St. Joesph's Abbey in Spencer, Maine, notes that she did a series of etchings for a booklet of meditations by prior Mark Delerey in the 1960s. This piece was probably done at the Atelier, as it is annotated "1959 Paris" in the lower left corner.
